Lighting & Fly Lines
(Testing Week - no class Wed/Fri)

If ABSENT, you are REQUIRED to read / understand / do all activities posted for that day, even if it's not an "assignment".
DAY 1: Fly Lines (Happy Solar Eclipse Day!)
1.) If you were absent ANY day last week, be sure to go back to last week's lessons and complete any learning missed.
2.) If you were in Ms. Price's group on Friday, and did not finish the learning from the Google Classroom assignment (Sub Plans 4/5/24), be sure to complete by the end of the hour. (Video linked above
3.) Learned how to run the fly lines in the theatre. (Class went down to theatre with Sam in small groups.)

If you were absent for fly line tutorials, watch THIS up to 8:25 (about how the fly line system works and how to safely use it). You MUST also safely do this skill in front of an instructor when you return to class.
DAY 2: Skill Make-up Day
1.) Watched a video about the role of lighting and sound designers. (If absent, watch.)
2.) Learned how to property wrap a cable. (All students participated. If you were absent, see an instructor to make-up this skill.)
3.) If you missed any of the skill days last week, today is/was your opportunity to make up these skills for a grade (prior to the summative relay next class).
DAY 3: Summative Skill Relay
1.) Students participated in a skill relay to prove competencies in lighting and fly lines.
